How does matching work?
Our algorithm uses your FLOW personality type, dining preferences, values, and interests to find 5 compatible strangers for your table. We optimize for conversational chemistry - not just surface-level similarities.
When do I find out where I'm going?
Your dinner details - restaurant, time, and group - are revealed on Wednesday morning. This is part of the magic! We call it "the reveal."
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We ask about dietary preferences during booking and select restaurants that can accommodate everyone at your table. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher - we've got you covered.
How much does a dinner cost?
StatusQ requires a subscription (billed in USD) that covers matching and coordination. You pay for your own meal at the restaurant. Most dinners run $30–60 per person depending on the restaurant.
Can I go alone?
Yes! That's the whole point. Most people come solo. Everyone at your table is in the same boat - open to meeting new people. It's much less intimidating than you'd think.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel up to 48 hours before your dinner at no cost. After that, we've already reserved your seat and matched your group, so late cancellations aren't possible.
What is your refund policy?
Subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app to prevent future charges, but no refunds are issued for the current or any past billing period.
What happens after the dinner?
After dinner, you can connect with anyone from your group through the app. Many groups also head to a nearby after-party venue together.
